Using this adapter I'm unable to connect to the internet (Windows 7), while another computer using the same Ethernet cable connects just fine. The troubleshooter tells me the adapter ('Local Area Connection 2') 'doesn't have a valid IP configuration.' I have tried setting the IP and DNS manually.
